Welcome to Arise & Shine's Green Page. Here you'll find green links - website links to Green Companies. We created this page to express our commitment to the interconnected nature of all life. Arise & Shine is founded on the principles of the healing power of nature, and on the knowing that the health of our environment and the health of our bodies are ultimately one and the same. 

Below are some links that we feel are important and think you might want to know about. Many of them are green companies and environmental organizations that Arise & Shine is a member of or has supported in some way.

Arise & Shine is working hard to be a green friendly company. Our earth loving priorities start with making sure that the products we sell are of the highest quality and extend to all the other business details:

  • We choose organic ingredients whenever possible, our next choice after that is sustainably harvested wildcrafted herbs. We use recycled paper as much as we can, even for our large printing jobs. 
  • Most of our printing is done with non-toxic biodegradable ink, including our product labels.
  • Our warehouse manager keeps a large recycling program going in our warehouse where we collect everything we can possibly recycle. 
  • Arise & Shine uses earth friendly packaging. Those “peanuts” you get in your boxes are actually biodegradable cellulose. We re-use boxes whenever we can.
  • Arise & Shine is making a difference by taking a stand on local, national and global issues. Right now we are working hard to protect the clean air standards in the Rogue Valley of Oregon, where we are located.
